1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Scamanot.com ("the Site," "our Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Scamanot.com is operated by Robert Scott Singleton, an individual doing business in Arizona, USA ("Operator," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Scamanot provides AI-powered tools designed to help users identify potential scam indicators in text messages, emails, URLs, phone numbers, and other content. Our tools include:

• Too Good to Be True Calculator
• Fake Review Detector
• Romance Scam Script Detector
• Job Offer Legitimacy Checker
• Crypto Scam Identifier
• Scam Sophistication Scorer

• Person & Identity Checker

Every tool offers a free tier (currently 10 checks per day) that requires no account or payment. We also offer optional paid plans — a one-time deep-dive report and ongoing Guardian and Pro subscriptions — that provide additional checks, fuller analysis, and other features described on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to modify the features included in any tier, introduce new tiers, or discontinue features at our sole discretion with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts, Subscriptions & Billing

Some features require creating an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Payment processing: All payments are processed exclusively by Stripe. Scamanot never receives or stores your card details — Stripe handles all tokenization and PCI compliance. We store only your subscription tier and billing status to manage access to paid features.
• Subscriptions: Guardian and Pro are recurring monthly subscriptions billed in advance. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again after cancellation.
• One-Time Report: The One-Time Report is a single, non-recurring purchase that does not create a subscription or require an account.
• Refunds: Because Scamanot delivers an analysis report or service access immediately upon purchase, all sales are final and non-refundable once a report has been generated or a billing period has begun, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at [email protected] and we will review the issue in good faith.
• Account deletion: You may permanently close your account at any time from your account dashboard. Closing your account cancels any active subscription and permanently deletes your account data — this action cannot be undone.

4. Limitation of Liability — Critical Disclaimer

Specifically, Scamanot:

• Does NOT guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis or result
• Does NOT guarantee that any entity flagged as suspicious is actually fraudulent
• Does NOT guarantee that any entity not flagged is safe or legitimate
• Is NOT liable for any financial loss, personal harm, or other damage arising from reliance on our analysis
• Is NOT a substitute for professional legal, financial, law enforcement, or cybersecurity advice
• Does NOT have the ability to access private databases, law enforcement records, or real-time fraud registries

5. Acceptable Use

By using Scamanot, you agree that you will NOT:

• Use the Service to harass, defame, or target any individual or organization based on our analysis results
• Submit content containing personal information of others without their consent
• Attempt to circumvent rate limiting, security measures, or access restrictions
• Use automated scripts or bots to query our tools at scale without prior written permission
• Use our Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our AI analysis system
• Submit content designed to probe, stress-test, or exploit our infrastructure

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Scamanot.com — including text, graphics, logos, design, tool interfaces, and underlying code — is the property of Robert Scott Singleton and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may share links to our tools and reference our educational content for non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not reproduce, copy, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

Scamanot uses third-party services to operate, including Anthropic (AI processing), Cloudflare (infrastructure and security), and Hostinger (web hosting). We are not responsible for the practices, terms, or reliability of these third-party providers. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience — we do not endorse any third-party website or service.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scamanot.com, its operator, and any affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Coconino County, Arizona.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Scamanot after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
